Product Introduction
Acid red 42 CAS# 6245-60-9 is a monoazo dye with the appearance of dark red powder. It dissolves in water with high solubility. Slightly soluble in ethanol and it is red in concentrated sulfuric acid. The water solution shows reddish color.
Mainly used in the dyeing of wool, silk and nylon/polyamide. And can also be used in the dyeing of leather.
pH 2.0-4.0 recommended for the dyeing of wool; pH 4.0-5.5 recommended for the dyeing of nylon/polyamide.
